Do I need an account? No. Idyl has no login. The measurements you enter are stored on your device, not on our servers.
How does Idyl estimate my daily burn? It combines your body metrics, activity level, and — if you connect it — data from Apple Health or Health Connect to estimate your total daily energy expenditure. Estimates get more accurate as you log over time.
How do I connect Apple Health or Health Connect? During setup, or later in Settings, tap to connect and grant read access. You can revoke access any time in your device’s Health or Health Connect settings.
Why is my body-fat number an estimate? Idyl uses tape measurements to estimate body-fat percentage. It is a trend tool, not a clinical measurement — watch the direction over time rather than any single reading.
How do I manage my subscription? On iOS, open the App Store → tap your account → Subscriptions → Idyl. On Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal stops the next charge.
How do I delete my data? Deleting the app removes the measurements and settings stored on your device.
