These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of InkReader (“the app”), published by Ventiq LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use InkReader on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
You keep all rights to your journals, scans, and transcribed text. You are responsible for the content you scan and for having the right to digitize it. Transcription accuracy is not guaranteed — handwriting recognition can make mistakes, and you should verify important text against the original page.
InkReader includes a limited number of free transcribed pages per device. We may apply reasonable technical limits (such as daily transcription caps and image-size limits) to prevent abuse and keep the service available for everyone.
InkReader offers an auto-renewable subscription, “InkReader Premium,” which unlocks unlimited page transcription. The following terms apply:
Your use of InkReader is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
InkReader is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for transcription errors, lost or corrupted data, indirect or consequential damages, or any use of the app that violates applicable law. Your journals are stored on your device — keeping backups (for example with the app’s export features) is your responsibility. You use the app at your own risk.
Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. These Terms are between you and Ventiq LLC only.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL, with the date above.
